About The Event
When did you last have the chance to step back and consider the variety of roles you undertake as a woman in work and life? Partner - mother - manager - daughter - colleague - carer - activist? It’s time to get curious about how these are impacting on you and those around you. Join us in celebration of International Women's Day to "come up for air."
We will start with an hour of gentle yoga (optional) led by the wonderful Trudy Morrison of Berwick & Borders Yoga (www.berwickbordersyoga.co.uk) which will focus on grounding and reconnecting, striving versus non-striving – in other words, how less can be so much more! Suitable for all levels of experience. Bring your own mat.
We’ll break for tea/coffee, homemade goodies and lots of chat.
Di Murray, coach and creative facilitator and the founder of ComingUp4Air, will then guide you through an enjoyable, interactive morning workshop helping you to "come up for air" as you explore the variety of roles you are juggling and how as a woman you can find more joy and ease. With her warm, engaging and down-to-earth facilitation style, Di will help you engage with lively discussion, creative activities and journaling. Together we will:
* explore some of the things that get in the way of balance
* dispel some of the myths of striving for the perfect balance.
* leave feeling more rested and re-energised for life and work.
All materials, refreshments and a journal included - just bring you! (and a friend who could comeup4air too.)
